² H4872 And Moses H7121 called [H8799]   H3478 unto all Israel H559 , and said [H8799]   H7200 unto them, Ye have seen [H8804]   H3068 all that the LORD H6213 did [H8804]   H5869 before your eyes H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H6547 unto Pharaoh H5650 , and unto all his servants H776 , and unto all his land;

³ H1419 The great H4531 temptations H5869 which thine eyes H7200 have seen [H8804]   H226 , the signs H1419 , and those great H4159 miracles:

⁴ H3068 Yet the LORD H5414 hath not given [H8804]   H3820 you an heart H3045 to perceive [H8800]   H5869 , and eyes H7200 to see [H8800]   H241 , and ears H8085 to hear [H8800]   H3117 , unto this day.

⁵ H3212 And I have led [H8686]   H705 you forty H8141 years H4057 in the wilderness H8008 : your clothes H1086 are not waxen old [H8804]   H5275 upon you, and thy shoe H1086 is not waxen old [H8804]   H7272 upon thy foot.

⁶ H398 Ye have not eaten [H8804]   H3899 bread H8354 , neither have ye drunk [H8804]   H3196 wine H7941 or strong drink H3045 : that ye might know [H8799]   H3068 that I am the LORD H430 your God.

⁸ H3947 And we took [H8799]   H776 their land H5414 , and gave [H8799]   H5159 it for an inheritance H7206 unto the Reubenites H1425 , and to the Gadites H2677 , and to the half H7626 tribe H4520 of Manasseh.

¹³ H6965 That he may establish [H8687]   H3117 thee to day H5971 for a people H430 unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God H1696 , as he hath said [H8765]   H7650 unto thee, and as he hath sworn [H8738]   H1 unto thy fathers H85 , to Abraham H3327 , to Isaac H3290 , and to Jacob.

¹⁴ H3772 Neither with you only do I make [H8802]   H1285 this covenant H423 and this oath;

¹⁵ H5975 But with him that standeth [H8802]   H3426 here with us this H3117 day H6440 before H3068 the LORD H430 our God H3117 , and also with him that is not here with us this day:

¹⁶ H3045 (For ye know [H8804]   H3427 how we have dwelt [H8804]   H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H5674 ; and how we came [H8804]   H7130 through H1471 the nations H5674 which ye passed by [H8804]  ;

¹⁷ H7200 And ye have seen [H8799]   H8251 their abominations H1544 , and their idols H6086 , wood H68 and stone H3701 , silver H2091 and gold, which were among them:)

¹⁸ H3426 Lest there should be H376 among you man H802 , or woman H4940 , or family H7626 , or tribe H3824 , whose heart H6437 turneth away [H8802]   H3117 this day H3068 from the LORD H430 our God H3212 , to go [H8800]   H5647 and serve [H8800]   H430 the gods H1471 of these nations H3426 ; lest there should be H8328 among you a root H6509 that beareth [H8802]   H7219 gall H3939 and wormwood;

¹⁹ H8085 And it come to pass, when he heareth [H8800]   H1697 the words H423 of this curse H1288 , that he bless [H8694]   H3824 himself in his heart H559 , saying [H8800]   H7965 , I shall have peace H3588 , though H3212 I walk [H8799]   H8307 in the imagination H3820 of mine heart H5595 , to add [H8800]   H7302 drunkenness H6771 to thirst:

²⁰ H3068 The LORD H14 will [H8799]   H5545 not spare [H8800]   H639 him, but then the anger H3068 of the LORD H7068 and his jealousy H6225 shall smoke [H8799]   H376 against that man H423 , and all the curses H3789 that are written [H8803]   H5612 in this book H7257 shall lie [H8804]   H3068 upon him, and the LORD H4229 shall blot out [H8804]   H8034 his name H8064 from under heaven.

²¹ H3068 And the LORD H914 shall separate [H8689]   H7451 him unto evil H7626 out of all the tribes H3478 of Israel H423 , according to all the curses H1285 of the covenant H3789 that are written [H8803]   H5612 in this book H8451 of the law:

²² H1755 So that the generation H314 to come H1121 of your children H6965 that shall rise up [H8799]   H310 after H5237 you, and the stranger H935 that shall come [H8799]   H7350 from a far H776 land H559 , shall say [H8804]   H7200 , when they see [H8804]   H4347 the plagues H776 of that land H8463 , and the sicknesses H3068 which the LORD H2470 hath laid [H8765]   upon it;

²³ H776 And that the whole land H1614 thereof is brimstone H4417 , and salt H8316 , and burning H2232 , that it is not sown [H8735]   H6779 , nor beareth [H8686]   H6212 , nor any grass H5927 groweth [H8799]   H4114 therein, like the overthrow H5467 of Sodom H6017 , and Gomorrah H126 , Admah H6636 , and Zeboim H3068 , which the LORD H2015 overthrew [H8804]   H639 in his anger H2534 , and in his wrath:

²⁴ H1471 Even all nations H559 shall say [H8804]   H3068 , Wherefore hath the LORD H6213 done [H8804]   H776 thus unto this land H2750 ? what meaneth the heat H1419 of this great H639 anger?

²⁵ H559 Then men shall say [H8804]   H5800 , Because they have forsaken [H8804]   H1285 the covenant H3068 of the LORD H430 God H1 of their fathers H3772 , which he made [H8804]   H3318 with them when he brought them forth [H8687]   H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt:

²⁶ H3212 For they went [H8799]   H5647 and served [H8799]   H312 other H430 gods H7812 , and worshipped [H8691]   H430 them, gods H3045 whom they knew [H8804]   H2505 not, and whom he had not given [H8804]   unto them:

²⁷ H639 And the anger H3068 of the LORD H2734 was kindled [H8799]   H776 against this land H935 , to bring [H8687]   H7045 upon it all the curses H3789 that are written [H8803]   H5612 in this book:

²⁸ H3068 And the LORD H5428 rooted [H8799]   H127 them out of their land H639 in anger H2534 , and in wrath H1419 , and in great H7110 indignation H7993 , and cast [H8686]   H312 them into another H776 land H3117 , as it is this day.

²⁹ H5641 The secret [H8737]   H3068 things belong unto the LORD H430 our God H1540 : but those things which are revealed [H8737]   H1121 belong unto us and to our children H5704 for H5769 ever H6213 , that we may do [H8800]   H1697 all the words H8451 of this law.
