8 ¹ H6030 Then answered [H8799]   H1085 Bildad H7747 the Shuhite H559 , and said [H8799]  ,

² H575 How H5704 long H4448 wilt thou speak [H8762]   H561 these things ? and how long shall the words H6310 of thy mouth H3524 be like a strong H7307 wind?

³ H410 Doth God H5791 pervert [H8762]   H4941 judgment H7706 ? or doth the Almighty H5791 pervert [H8762]   H6664 justice?

⁴ H1121 If thy children H2398 have sinned [H8804]   H7971 against him, and he have cast them away [H8762]   H3027 for H6588 their transgression;

⁵ H7836 If thou wouldest seek H410 unto God H7836 betimes [H8762]   H2603 , and make thy supplication [H8691]   H7706 to the Almighty;

⁶ H2134 If thou wert pure H3477 and upright H5782 ; surely now he would awake [H8686]   H5116 for thee, and make the habitation H6664 of thy righteousness H7999 prosperous [H8765]  .

⁸ H7592 For enquire [H8798]   H7223 , I pray thee, of the former [H8675]   H7223   H1755 age H3559 , and prepare [H8786]   H2714 thyself to the search H1 of their fathers:

¹⁸ H1104 If he destroy [H8762]   H4725 him from his place H3584 , then it shall deny [H8765]   H7200 him, saying, I have not seen [H8804]   thee.
