Curtius, § 1; Vanicek, p. 2f)), the curve or inner angle of the arm: δέξασθαι εἰς τάς ἀγκάλας, Luke 2:28. The Greeks also said ἀγκάς λαβεῖν ἐν ἀγκάλαις περιφέρειν, etc., see ἐναγκαλίζομαι.
