The wicked in pride and arrogance hotly pursue and persecute the poor; let them be taken in the schemes which they have devised.
In the pride of the wicked the poor is hotly pursued; Let them be taken in the devices that they have conceived.
Meanwhile, the wicked are proudly in hot pursuit of those who suffer. Let them get caught in the very same schemes they’ve thought up!
I trust in the Lord. How can you say to my soul, "Sojourn to the mountain, like a sparrow."
