A communist teacher in East Germany once told her class, "Stand up, and say: 'There is no God!'" But one of her students, an eight-year-old girl, from a Christian home refused to obey that order.
Although she was threatened, she did not utter such words. Then the teacher, angry, told her: "Go home and write 'There is no God' fifty times, and tomorrow you give me this homework." At night, at home, she sat down and wrote "Yes, there is a God!" fifty times.
The next day the girl handed in what she had written to her teacher. She got angry again, and said to the girl: "When you go home you are going to write five hundred times 'There is no God!', or something is going to happen to you."
That "something" meant death. The next day the girl and her father went to the school principal and told him what was happening. Then the principal told the girl, "Don't worry. Your teacher died last night in a motorcycle accident. That's all over now. Go back to your classroom."
There is a victorious promise for the one who decides to live in obedience to God: there will be no devil, person or situation that can harm him because God, his protector, will fight for him to deliver him from every attack or trap of the enemy.
Any weapon against you will be destroyed by the hand of God, your enemies will be put to shame, and you will jump for joy, leaving as a testimony that those who shelter under the shadow of the ALMIGHTY and wait on His salvation will not be disappointed.
Lord, thank you for this day, thank you for your love, thank you for your care so evident in this powerful promise. Thank you for each of the blessings you have given me through the gift of salvation. That is why I ask you to help me remain in you, to believe more in your Word, to obey you so that my faith increases, my fears disappear and my enemies flee in shame, recognizing that their weapons against me were destroyed by the power of your strong arm that is ready to fight and defend all those who take refuge in you. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord.
