¹ H1697 The word H3414 that Jeremiah H5030 the prophet H1696 spake [H8765]   H1263 unto Baruch H1121 the son H5374 of Neriah H3789 , when he had written [H8800]   H1697 these words H5612 in a book H6310 at the mouth H3414 of Jeremiah H7243 , in the fourth H8141 year H3079 of Jehoiakim H1121 the son H2977 of Josiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah H559 , saying [H8800]  ,

² H559 Thus saith [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H430 , the God H3478 of Israel H1263 , unto thee, O Baruch;

³ H559 Thou didst say [H8804]   H188 , Woe H3068 is me now! for the LORD H3254 hath added [H8804]   H3015 grief H4341 to my sorrow H3021 ; I fainted [H8804]   H585 in my sighing H4672 , and I find [H8804]   H4496 no rest.

⁴ H559 Thus shalt thou say [H8799]   H3068 unto him, The LORD H559 saith [H8804]   H1129 thus; Behold, that which I have built [H8804]   H2040 will I break down [H8802]   H5193 , and that which I have planted [H8804]   H5428 I will pluck up [H8802]   H776 , even this whole land.
