"But his body pains him, And he mourns only for himself."
But his flesh upon him shall have pain, And his soul within him shall mourn.
But his body [lamenting its decay in the grave] shall grieve over him, and his soul shall mourn [over the body of clay which it once enlivened].
But his flesh upon him hath pain, And his soul within him mourneth.
They only feel the pain of their body, and they mourn for themselves.
And in this way his body, while he yet lives, will have grief, and his soul will mourn over himself.
