To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; On the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
To cause it to rain on the uninhabited land [and] on the desert where no man lives,

to bring water to uninhabited land, a desert with no human
so that it would rain on the earth far from man, in the wilderness where no mortal lingers,
That it should rain on the earth without man in the wilderness, where no mortal dwelleth:
