our enemies are certainly cut off; fire will devour what’s left of them.
Whereas our substance is not cut down, But the remnant of them the fire consumeth.
Surely those who rose up against us are cut off, and that which remained to them the fire has consumed.
Saying, Surely they that did rise up against us are cut off, And the remnant of them the fire hath consumed.
Has not their haughtiness been cut down, and has not fire devoured the remnants of them?
