King David had become very old. His servants covered him with blankets, but he couldn’t stay warm.
Now king David was old and stricken in years; and they covered him with clothes, but he gat no heat.
AND KING David was old and advanced in years; they covered him with [bed]clothes, but he could not get warm.
Now king David had become elderly, and he had many days in his lifetime. And though he was covered with clothes, he was not warmed.
