However, does not one falling in a heap of ruins stretch out his hand? Or in his calamity will he not therefore cry for help?
Howbeit he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, Though they cry in his destruction.

Surely he won’t strike someone in ruins if in distress he cries out to him,
Truly, then, you do not extend your hand in order to consume them, and if they fall down, you will save them.
