And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; Neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: For better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.
He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; But he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: And there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: So doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel.
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: And thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; With favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, And in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
